Thought of the Day:

If opportunity never knocks…then the decision is made for you. Right? Never having the opportunity to make certain life changing decisions is more painful than making the wrong decision.

pink is the new black October 18, 2008

This morning I decided to go bra shopping. Like a lot of women, I hate this duty. I’d rather have a root canal if you must know the truth.

To my luck, wonderment and surprise, Dillard’s department store was having a free bra fitting and part of the money you spend on a new bra goes to support the Susan G. Komen “For the Cure”. I was helped by two amazing women. They fitted me in the perfect bra. I, like many women, was wearing the incorrect size. I’m so happy to have a perfect fit and help a worth while cause in the process. Get fitted today!

happy 94th birthday! October 13, 2008

This weekend KV and I took a cruise on the historic Belle of Louisville steamboat. We had no idea it was her 94th birthday! The Belle is now recognized as the oldest river steamboat still in operation.

Growing up in Louisville, you can imagine I’ve been on the Belle more than once…that’s true, but it had been years and years. If you’re planning a trip to Louisville during the summer months…a ride on the Belle of Louisville is a must!

He gives me the warm fuzzies.

He thinks I’m beautiful.

He makes me feel important.

He makes me laugh.

He makes me want to think about the future.

He. Loves me.
